One month ago I had the opportunity of follow the sails that participated in the Regatta Puig Vela Classica Barcelona 2014 with a group of photographers and with a master in the art of photographing events like this, Mr. Diego Yriarte, photographer and journalist specializing in boating and photography and a very good teacher.
I only sail once with this group but it was a great experience that I would like to share with you. I was lucky because it was a windy day and the Regatta was beautiful (The next day, that I was scheduled to asist too, it was a day with no wind and the race was suspended). The regatta in the pictures was performed in front of the Port Olímpic and a southwest wind of 18 knots accompanied these classic 40 sailboats and more than 600 crew members during the course.
