Weekly Photo Challenge: Joy

The other day, walking by Las Ramblas in Barcelona I met this man from Ireland and we begin to talk: “What do you do? Where are you from?…”.
You know…, the typical topics to break the ice to take a picture to an unknown person… and it works. I took a lot of pictures, not as well as I would like, but some were reasonably good.
Anyway I send him that set of reasonably good photos by mail and offered him to do a new session prepared in advance in a day later, but he told me he was already in Ireland, so maybe in the future. He also told me that after I left the site, the police that you see in the left rear of the picture tried to prevent him to continue giving out balloons to passersby and that it was really dificult to explain them that the baloons were for free.

In our days, nobody belives when someone says that “something is for free”; we have forgotten the joy of giving.
Xmas is a good time to remember that, maybe that is why this is the topic for this week Photo Challenge.
